I want my children to understand and love God's Word, but they'll always need to be on the lookout for false teaching and false translations. The cover is nicely done and eye catching. When I gave it to him, he quietly sat in our living room analyzing the 24 full-color pages depicting scenes from scripture cleverly constructed out of bricks. My sons and I have been studying the Old Testament so far this year in our homeschool studies. Notes are provided that include the story of God and his creation in five parts and an invitation to join in this story. The girls loved the 3D cover and all of the colorful extras and special inserts. It gives the children a lot of background information that they may have never known before about how the Bible actually came to be. For instance, the first five books of the old testament are listed under law whereas the next 12 books are listed under history. I took it to church to a Bible study and showed it to several children and they said the same thing.
